You and the Fed: A Winning Combination
Questions
Answers
What happens to my
resume once the Bank receives it?
Once we receive your resume, we
enter it into our applicant database for review by our recruiters
or hiring managers.

How will I know the
status of my resume?
Due to the large volume of resumes
we receive, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas does not acknowledge
receipt of each resume and is unable to give status updates.
If a strong match is found between your qualifications and
the requirements of the position, a member of the recruiting
staff will contact you directly to further discuss the career
opportunity. In the event that you are not contacted within
a 2–3 week period, it is likely that we are pursuing
other applicants.

How do I find out
if a position is still available?
The Bank's Employment web page
is updated regularly. If the position for which you submitted
your resume is not listed, it is no longer available.

How long will you
keep my resume?
We store resumes in our
files for 12 months.

How often can I submit
a resume?
Because we continually search our
resume database for suitable candidates, it is not necessary
to reapply for one year after submitting your resume. To apply
for a particular area of interest, you may indicate it on
the online job application.

What options do I
have for submitting my resume?
Resumes for jobs at the Dallas
Office are accepted via the online
application [off-site] only. The El Paso, Houston and
San Antonio offices accept resumes via the online
job application, fax or e-mail.
