Administrative Assistant
Job Description:
Provides advanced level administrative
coordination and support to the Executives at the branch.
Exercises a high degree of initiative, discretion and
judgment in relieving the supervising Executive of many
matters not requiring direct attention. Responds to
special requests for information requiring extensive
research and compilation. May assist in budget preparation
for area of responsibility. Coordinates meeting schedules,
agendas, and prepares minutes and resolutions. May coordinate
special events as requested.
Responsibilities:
Prepares articles and executive
correspondence for internal and external information
requests. Researches subject material and drafts summaries,
responses, and answers for routine matters.
Excellent communication and writing
skills to include ability to obtain information, analyze,
edit and/or summarize the information.
Maintains confidential data, spreadsheets
and information related to budget, expense, and/or personnel
information as assigned. Analyzes and recommends action
based on research and calculations. Prepares budget
projections as assigned by analyzing historical trends,
variances and future needs. Prepares recommendations
for management.
Responds to public and civic inquiries
requiring extensive research. Studies resources and
prepares responses for topics and special assignments
that may include bank history, background searches,
civic requests and interest, rate information and Board
of Governors requests. May present material to small
formal or informal audiences as needed.
Composes agendas and minutes for
executive meetings as assigned. May draft resolutions.
Coordinates scheduling and logistics of meetings and
other events which may include negotiating with hotels,
ensuring adequate audio/visual equipment, and paying
and reconciling meetings and event bills.
Performs other special assignments
requiring research, data/information analysis, documentation
preparation, writing and oral presentation as assigned
Education & Experience
College degree preferred
(English major). Eight years of progressive experience.
Additional experience may be substituted for education
Normal Working Hours:
M-F, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
