The Texas Asset Building Coalition
(TABC) is sponsoring a series of six free regional meetings
around the state in 2006 to engage local stakeholders
to focus on asset building at the local and state level.
Through these regional meetings and an initial asset
building summit held in Austin in November, TABC plans
to develop an action agenda. Asset building provides
individuals and families with an investment vehicle,
protection, and hope for a better future. These regional
meetings are part of TABC’s campaign RAISE Texas
(Resources, Assets, Investments, Savings, & Education).
