Dallas Fed Announces
Executive Promotions
DALLAS—The Federal Reserve
Bank of Dallas has announced the following promotions:
- Stephan Booker has been promoted to assistant vice
president with continuing responsibility in the Financial
Management Department.
Booker started his career with the Bank as an assistant
bank examiner and held various positions in the Financial
Management Department. Before becoming assistant vice
president, Booker was accounting officer.
Booker holds M.B.A. and B.B.A. degrees from the University
of Texas at Austin and is a certified public accountant.
- Jeffery W. Gunther has been promoted to assistant
vice president with continuing responsibility in the
Financial Industry Studies Department, where he also
serves as senior economist.
Gunther conducts and directs analysis of financial
institutions and the supervisory system in which they
operate. His work focuses on supervisory policy issues
of particular concern to the Federal Reserve System.
He has authored numerous articles for Federal Reserve
System and academic publications.
He received a Ph.D. from Southern Methodist University.
- Sherry M. Kidd has been promoted to assistant vice
president with continuing responsibilities in the
Information Technology Services Department.
Previously, Kidd was information technology officer,
where her role included national and local applications
development. Kidd has participated in various Federal
Reserve System advisory and work groups.
Kidd holds a B.S. from Arizona State University and
an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas.
- Tommy Alsbrooks has been promoted to information
technology officer.
Previously, Alsbrooks was operations group manager
with responsibility for the Desktop Services Center
project portfolio.
Alsbrooks is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer,
Solutions Developer, Database Administrator and Trainer
and is enrolled in the Fast Track M.B.A. Program at
the University of Texas at Dallas.
- Robert L. Triplett III has been promoted to information
technology officer.
Triplett joined the Bank in 1995 and has managed several
technology projects. He has served on web application
and development committees.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration
from Oklahoma State University, an M.B.A. from Southern
Methodist University and is a certified Project Management
Professional.
