Scholars and practitioners from a range of disciplines will examine the individual and joint relationships of migration and trade on growth and development. Panels include the politics of reform, the role of remittances and the historical perspective.

The conference is held in cooperation with Southern Methodist University’s Tower Center for Political Studies and Department of Economics, as well as the Jno E. Owens Foundation.

Mark R. Rosenzweig of Yale University will deliver the keynote address.
